¡Por fin he hecho pipí en el baño!
I had the pleasure of illustrating this book, created by pediatrician Lorena Braviz, with the goal of helping children through the potty-training process. This is a significant phase in a child’s life, requiring patience, support, and understanding from parents and caregivers.
The illustrations were lovingly crafted with attention to detail, following the author’s guidance to create a warm and engaging world. The story addresses this sometimes challenging topic for families in a delicate and playful way.
The book follows María, a curious little girl who notices how her peers use the bathroom and sees how happy the people around them feel when they succeed. Inspired, she decides to try it herself, with the encouragement and support of her parents, who guide her through this important milestone. Will María be ready to grow up and leave her diapers behind?
Working on this project was incredibly rewarding, knowing it could bring comfort and guidance to both children and parents during such an important stage of childhood development.
